Recently, I had a death in the family. I had a very, very unexpected and significant death in my family…someone I loved very deeply…someone I was very close to from the time I was born. Even with being grounded in Christ and knowing God’s Word, death and seeing death, takes your breath away. Today, I’d like to share with you my journey.
I’ve never learned to deal with death and grieve properly, so here I am today…at 43, allowing The Lord to teach and comfort me over not just physical death, but ultimate disappointments…trauma…unanswered prayers…loss…life…hurt…pain…questions…
I know, I’m not the only one going through the pain of loss and physical death, but the after-math, the loss, grief, trauma, disappointment, confusion and even anger and sadness.
After the many significant deaths I’ve gone through since I was seven, I thought recently, I began to make some headway in how I processed grief…and I have, significantly. But, what I’ve come to learn is that although I know the truth of God about heaven, the truth that they’re with a Jesus and being absent from the body is being present with the Lord, all of the scriptures about heaven through The Word, The hardest part is… Letting Go! Sometimes, the agony of your heart is the disappointment you feel on the brevity of life, the unexpected turns and disappointments when The Lord does the opposite of what you’ve asked and the agony and anxiety of separation that on the earth…you have to say, I’ll see you later.

Nice read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch since I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch! “Any man would be forsworn to gain a kingdom.” by Roger Zelazny.
